Love. Work. Repeat. – Guest Contributor Guidelines
We are looking for articles pertaining to marriage, relationships, date night, parenting, fashion, beauty, health & wellness, cooking, decorating, travel and entertainment. Only guest posts that meet these criteria will be considered for publishing.
We will not consider articles that contain derogatory, inflammatory or pornographic language or images. We will not consider articles that we deem negative or feel were created to cause controversy on our site.
Post Length
Typically, posts can be of any length as long as they convey the message. We do recommend you have a minimum of 400 words. Also, keep in mind that posts that are too long can be daunting for readers so we have a cap of 1,000 words maximum.
Editing
We regularly edit posts submitted to Love. Work. Repeat. We will not rewrite your article but may make grammatical changes, minor edits, title changes, photo changes, and other changes. Do not take it personally . . . we know our audience and we know how to write successfully for our site. If a post misses the mark completely or if it needs improvement, we’ll let you know and suggest how the article can be improved.
Copyright & Ownership
As a contributor, you acknowledge that your article is an original work and not reproduced from any other site or publication. You also agree that once an article is posted to Love. Work. Repeat., it becomes the property of Love. Work. Repeat. You give us consent to reproduce such content in any way, publicly or privately, in any form of media, known or unknown, without any compensation to you.
Images
Images are great for grabbing a reader’s attention. If you can’t come up with an image that directly relates to what you’re writing about, think of abstract images that may illustrate your point. A few notes:
In-post Links
We will allow links in your articles if they are relevant to the topic you’re writing about. We do ask that you link to any of your sources in order to give proper attribution. Self-linking is prohibited, though you will have the opportunity to do so in your byline.
Byline / Signature
We want to help promote you as the author of your article, and as such, provide an opportunity to include a byline/signature on your posts. This may not be used as ad space. We allow up to 2 links, but they may not be affiliate links or point to junk sites that are solely designed for promoting affiliate links. You can also include links to your social media accounts.
Submission
Please submit your completed article to infothemarriedlife@gmail.com and allow 5 to 7 business days to receive an email reply informing you whether or not we have chosen to publish your article.
