Date Night:
SIP and STROLL through Houston's Museum District

Well, it's date night time again and you are trying to figure out what to do and where to go. LWR has the perfect idea for a date night this month. It involves a little Sip of wine at a local restaurant Lucille’s and a Stroll through Houston’s great Museum District.
A great way to start off the date is to head down to the museum district to the Houston Center of Contemporary Craft. The Houston Center of Contemporary Craft highlights objects of art made primarily from craft materials: clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood or found/recycled materials. What is so cool about The Houston Center of Contemporary Craft is that you are able to see the how art is made and the artist's story by each piece. Make sure to check out the gift shop, there are some cool and unique gifts you can find.
Next, head to the Museum of Fine Art, you can see a wide variety of fine art. The museum is home to 63,000 works of art from the Stone Age to current. There is definitely something there that will catch your eye.
You can cap the evening off with a glass of wine and a bite to eat by stepping into one of the newest and hottest restaurants in the museum district, Lucille’s. Lucille’s offers southern comfort foods with a European twist. The coolest thing about this restaurant is they use the freshest ingredients right out of their back yard for many of their meals. Oh and the wine list is top notch, from Carinbrae Pinot Noir to Caibrrae Sauvignon Blanc, there is something for all wine enthusiasts!
