Continuing Education

University of Houston – Downtown(UHD) has a several wonderful summer programs for aged 10-18. UHD mission is “learning doesn’t have to stop in the summer.

It’s the time to bone up on skills and get a jump on the upcoming academic year. A few of the programs they offer are:
Science Camp - Students aged 6 through 12 who make it their business to always look for new doors or exciting possibilities are primed to experience Science Camp, where cutting-edge content lures them into the intriguing world of science.

Computer Camp - Students aged 10 to 17 who are not content just to use a computer but need to understand the guts of applications and programming will find satisfaction at Compu Camp. This high level, hands-on training is so complete that participants with a working knowledge of an operating system like Windows (Mac and Unix users welcome, too!) will leave with a thorough understanding of the ins and outs of computers.

Writing Camp
– Writing Camp is the place for young writers looking to find or develop their voice.
