Let's Get Active
It is date night time again and you are wondering what you should do for date night this month. Try incorporating a little activity into your date night and see great benefits to your relationship and health. Let's step out the date night box and do something a little different. How about a little dancing or yoga? This type of physical activity can also help you shed a few of those pounds you put on during the holiday. LWR has a couple great ideas for you this month. Our suggestions will definitely liven up the night and get you shape at the same time!
Let’s dance. When was the last time you and your spouse “cut a rug”? I know it has been a while for me! Dancing is like riding a bike once the song comes on your body just knows what to do. There are a couple options when it comes to dancing. You can try going to a local night club that plays your music preference or you can take a dance class at a local dance studio. A lot of dance studios promote specials for couples date night. No matter where you decide to go or the type of dancing you decide on, dancing will give you enough cardio, flexibility and core training to last a week.
Yoga time! I’m sure you may have heard the word "yoga" thrown around and never thought of it as a date night idea. But Yoga has great benefits for your health and doing yoga
with your spouse would be fun and rewarding at the same time. Yoga is known for helping with centering, balancing,
and connecting your mind, body and soul. By taking a yoga class with your spouse you will help improve your relationship connection, balance in disparities and center the love and respect you have one another. So try it and reconnect with your spouse in a different way.
LWR enjoys giving suggestions for date nights and we hope that these articles inspire you to do different things to connect with your spouse. Whatever you decide to do,
make sure you and your spouse take some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to reconnect. It is very important to help your relationship become stronger.
